How to Reach Panna National Park from Mumbai
By Air
The fastest route from Mumbai is via Khajuraho or Jabalpur.
Mumbai to Khajuraho has connecting flights through Delhi. The park is about an hour from the airport by road.
Direct flights are available to Jabalpur, but the drive to Panna takes 4 to 5 hours.
By Train
Mumbai to Panna can be reached through three nearby stations.
Satna is well connected and about 2 to 3 hours by road.
Jabalpur has multiple train options with a 4 to 5 hour drive.
Khajuraho has fewer trains but is the closest at around 30 km.
By Road
Mumbai to Panna by road is long, around 1100 to 1200 km, taking 20 to 22 hours.
This option is not common unless you plan a longer road trip.
Travel Tip: The easiest option is to fly to Jabalpur Airport and continue by taxi to Panna for a comfortable and time-saving journey.
